Kazakh Embassy in Turkey celebrates Nauryz
Delivering an opening address, Kazakh Ambassador Zhanseit Tuimebayev congratulate those gathered on the holiday, highlighting that the Turkic people have been traditionally celebrating this holiday of peace and consent for many years in a row as an international holiday. Nauryz is one of the universal holidays to give an opportunity to carry on traditions of ancestors, enhance friendship and interethnic harmony, as well as deepen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the nations. Among those attending were ex-minister of culture Namik Kemal Zeybek, deputy foreign minister Ali Kemal Aydin, ambassadors of Hungary, Mongolia, Poland, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, famous public figures, Kazakh Diaspora representatives and Kazakh students, studying there. The event was followed by a concert with participation of Kazakh artists, a photo exhibition featuring the country's achievements since gaining its independence.
