Kazakh Emergencies Ministry plans to build 20 air units in 20 regions

Kazakh Emergencies Minister Chingis Arinov revealed what aircraft and helicopters will be bought for rescue operations countrywide, Kazinform News Agency reports.

He said the Ministry plans to set up 20 air units in 20 regions of Kazakhstan to ensure security and train young specialists. For the first time in the history of the country’s independence Kazakhstan will buy L 410 planes for West, East, North and South Kazakhstan.

He added the Ministry signed MI8 AMT and Ka32 helicopter lease agreements.

It also planned to train pilots for night flights and adverse weather conditions.
