Kazakh envoy met with Czech senators in Prague

ASTANA. August 17. KAZINFORM Anarbek Karashev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, met with senators of the Czech Republic Parliament on August 16 in Prague.

According to the press service of the Kazakh MFA, the Kazakhstani diplomat told the Czech parliamentarians about the upcoming International Conference From prohibition of nuclear tests to the world free of nuclear weapons on August 29, 2012 in Astana. The senators confirmed their participation and hailed Nursultan Nazarbayev's initiative on nuclear disarmament.

The Kazakhstani diplomat noted that the forum would be a part of the Astana Declaration for a nuclear free world implementation and would be held on the 21st anniversary of shutting down the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site.

10 delegates from the Czech Republic were invited to participate in the conference.

Within the meeting the sides also exchanged views on the relevant issues of the Kazakh-Czech cooperation.
