Kazakh ex-emergency situations minister’s son Igor Iliyn named Karabatan Utility Solutions director-general
Igor Iliyn, a son of the former emergency situations minister of Kazakhstan Yuri Ilyin, has been named the Director General of Karabatan Utility Solutions, Kazinform Agency cites Petrocouncil.kz.
Igor Iliyn, a graduate of the Kazakh-British Technical University, was the director general of the research center of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas and Aventis group LLP over different years. In 2020, he was the head of Samruk-Energy JSC, and later the director for development and sales of Samruk-Energy JSC.
He also worked as the deputy chairman for commerce at the Central Asian Electricity Corporation.
Karabatan Utility Solutions is the operator for constructing production and infrastructure facilities of the National Industrial Petrochemical Technology Park special economic zone in Atyrau region.
