Kazakh fencers bag silver at FIE Junior Saber World Cup

The Kazakh team won silver at the 2024 FIE Women’s/ Men’s Junior Saber World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Kazakh National Olympic Committee.

Zhailybai Nurmukhammed, Kainazar Nurkatuly, Sultan Stanbek and Yerkhan Karaman defended the country’s colors in the Men’s Team event.

On their way to silver, Kazakhstani fencers beat Romania 45:36 in the semis and lost to Uzbekistan 35:45 in the finals.

As earlier reported, Kazakhstan’s Chshigolev skates to gold at the ISU Four Continents Speed Skating Championships in Japan.
