Kazakh fighters win Kunlun fight in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A Palace of Culture and Sports named after Baluan Sholak has held the international tournament for mixed martial arts Kunlun Fight 2 Cage Series dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.

Kazakhstan fighters from "Alem Fighters" club fought against rivals from China, Korea, Brazil and the United States. In super heavyweight Kazakhstan's Beibit Nazarov (72 kg) won Bruno Robinho of Brazil and became world champion under KUNLUN FIGHT version. Yet another Kazakh athlete Kazybek Ashimov (57 kg) became the world champion under the version after defeating his opponent from South Korean Yong Won Sok. Recall that this year's event is organized by world MMA KUNLUN FIGHT and ALEM PROMOTION company with the support of the city administration.
