Kazakh film rewarded at international online film festival

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Short film «Pigeon on the Roof» by the Kazakh director Olga Korot'ko has been honored for the best director at the International Online Film Festival called '‘Hollywood Shorts Reel' - 14, the press service of «Kazakh film» JSC informs.

It is noted that for the main festival awards fought 34 short films manufactured in 14 countries. The winners were determined by online voting. Films were evaluated in four categories: «Play Movie», «Documentaries», «Animation» and «Music video».

Best short film was named «Nemesis» directed by Guillermo Alcalá Santaella - Llorens (Spain). The award for best documentary was awarded the film «I exist» directed by Ahmed Abdelnaser (Egypt). Best animated film was named «Black Island» directed by Nino Christen (Switzerland) and the award for the best music video went to «The Voice» directed by Parmita Borah (India).
