Kazakh film ?The Gift to Stalin? takes part in prestigious American festivals

ALMATY. January 13. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ ?ALDONGAR Productions? Kazakhstan?s Film Company has informed about the long-awaited DVD release of Kazakh film ?The Gift to Stalin?. Audience will be able to watch not only the motion picture but also the film and clip about it and its creators; Kazinform correspondent reports.

As film producers Boris Cherdabayev and Aliya Uvalzhanova informed, their work on film promotion has already been appraised in South Korea's 13th Pusan Film Festival. Today ?The Gift to Stalin? participates in the most prestigious American festivals in Boston, California, Atlanta, New York, Miami, Seattle and Washington. The film has already been named the best foreign language film in the XIV International Film Festival on Human Rights ?Stalker?. The film aroused much interest in the Boston Jewish Film Festival held on November 6-20, 2008. The performance of ?The Gift to Stalin? film is planned to be held in the US Congress.
