Kazakh films should reflect patriotism - Head of State

sp;ALMATY. November 23. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "We are a young state, we need a patriotic education for the younger generation. The sense of patriotism should be in every Kazakh film", Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said during his Monday visit to "Kazakhfilm" JSC in Almaty.

The Head of the State noted that the Kazakh film-makers could create not only historical films. "A lot of events occurred in Kazakhstan over 18 years of its independence. They are the transfer of the capital to Astana, its construction; next year we will chair the OSCE, in 2011 - the Organization of the Islamic Conference. Besides, we will host the Asian Winter Games in 2011. We are recognized all over the world", the President said. He emphasized that film directors and actors greatly contribute to it.

Several new film trailers were shown to the President. They are devoted to the capital of Kazakhstan, development of sport, youth, patriotism. The Head of the State thanked the film-makers for the theme of patriotism raised in all these motion pictures.
