Kazakh financial police names most corrupted spheres, programs

ASTANA. December 7. KAZINFORM Public procurements sphere remains one of the most corrupted in Kazakhstan. The implementation of the state programs financed at the expense of the national as well as local budgets, is closely related to the issue of public procurements, the press service of the Kazakh Agency for Fighting  with Economic Corruption Crimes (financial police) reported.

64 corruption crimes violating the state programs were disclosed by the financial police within ten months of this year. The general damage totals KZT 143.3 million.

The majority of the corruption related crimes was committed under such state programs as "Ak Bulak" (21), "Employment-2020"  (19), "Housing Construction" (17) and Business Road Map (12).
