Kazakh FM, Chargé d'Affaires of U.S. Embassy eye situation in Ukraine

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov and Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Astana John Ordway have discussed the situation in Ukraine, the Kazakh MFA's press service reports.

According to the press service, the sides exchanged their views on that issue. During the meeting, Erlan Idrissov and John Ordway touched upon a wide range of issues regarding bilateral cooperation in the political and economic spheres, nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation and international agenda. Participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Nuclear Security Summit in the Hague in late March, work of the Kazakhstani-U.S. Commission for strategic partnership, and plans of bilateral interaction for 2014 were debated as well.
