Kazakh FM, Head of EU Delegation to Kazakhstan met in Astana

TANA. November 26. KAZINFORM Today in Astana Kazakh Foreign Affairs Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov has received Ambassador Norbert Jousten, the Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.

The Kazakh Minister expressed gratitude to the European diplomat for the fruitful activity highlighting his great contribution to the development of Kazakh-EU cooperation.

Besides, the parties debated the progress of implementation of the EU Strategy for Central Asia, results of the Path to Europe state-run programme, in particular, the outcomes of the international conference themed "Kazakhstan -EU: results and new horizons for cooperation" held on November 24 in Astana.

Norbert Jousten congratulated Kazakhstan on the forthcoming 20^th anniversary of independence outlining the country's achievements and success achieved over the years of independence.
