Kazakh Foreign Minister held meetings in Vilnius
ASTANA. December 7. KAZINFORM Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov met with Special Representative of UN Secretary General to Afghanistan Jan Kubis to discuss the current situation and prospects of stabilization of Afghanistan on December 6 in Vilnius.
The sides noted the importance of close cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UN in efforts to stabilize Afghanistan. Kazykhanov said that Kazakhstan was ready to supply grain and fuels to this country.
In addition, Kazykhanov met with CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev to discuss the progress of preparation for the CIS Summit planned for December 20 in Moscow.
The Kazakh Minister also held meeting with Estonian counterpart Urmas Paet. The sides noted the positive dynamics of bilateral relations and an important role of Kazakh-Estonian Intergovernmental Commission.
