Kazakh Foreign Minister met with BIE Sec-Gen in Astana

ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov met with Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Vicente Gonzalez Loscertales on Tuesday in Astana, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.

Mr. Vicente Loscertales congratulated the Kazakh side on winning the right to conduct EXPO-2017 and stressed the relevance of the theme "Energy of the Future".

Yerlan Idrissov told about the establishment of a special commission and formation of the national plan as part of preparation for the exhibition.

The sides discussed the opportunities of post-exhibition usage of infrastructure designed for the EXPO.
