Kazakh Foreign Minister to hold talks in Germany on easing visa regime

ASTANA. January 29. KAZINFORM Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov is planning to visit Germany on January 30 - February 3, official spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Zhanbolat Ussenov announced at a briefing on Tuesday.

Idrissov is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with Foreign Policy and Security Aide to the German Chancellor Christoph Heusgen, Vice-Chancellor of Germany and Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Roesler, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, President of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Eckhard Cordes, as well as representatives of the political and business circles of Germany.

The main topics during the talks will be the strengthening of Kazakh-German bilateral relations aimed at reaching strategic partnership agreement, implementation of the intergovernmental agreement on partnership in the fields of raw materials, manufacturing and technology, the issues of easing visa restrictions for the citizens of Kazakhstan.
