Kazakh, French Presidents discussed wide range of issues

ASTANA. October 27. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with French President Nicolas Sarkozy today within his visit to France. A wide range of issues of bilateral and topical international problems were discussed at the meeting.

Upon the results of the meeting the Head of the State said that the issues of coming OSCE Summit in Astana were discussed as well.

Answering the question of a French journalist whether the French President will take part in the Summit N.Nazarbayev has said that Heads of all OSCE member states are expected to participate in the forum.

"We have also addressed the issues of coming G8 and G20 forums in which France is taking the presidency", N.Nazarbayev said.

The Leaders of two states discussed the problems of Eurasian and regional security, situation in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan as well.
