Kazakh frontier guards foil medicine smuggling attempt

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Khorgos frontier guards have foiled an attempt to smuggle about 1 ton of medicine, the press service of the Frontier Service of Kazakhstan National Security Committee said.

A 32-year-old woman was on her way from China to Kazakhstan. The contraband cargo is put into Khorgos department of border control. Investigation is underway.
