Kazakh GDP growth at almost 5% in 11 mnths

 In 11 months of this year, Kazakhstan saw an almost 5%-growth in its economy, Alibek Kuantyrov, national economy minister said at the government meeting Tuesday, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports. 

In January-November this year, the GDP growth stood at 4.9% in Kazakhstan. The real sector rose by 3.5% and the service sphere 5.6%. The biggest increases were recorded in construction, trade, information and communication, transport and warehousing, said the national economy minister.

Investments in fixed capital rose 14.6%, information and communication 2.8times, transport and warehousing 58%, trade 34%, education 17%, agriculture 11%, industry 8.5%, including manufacturing 4.6%, according to Kuantyrov.

According to the ministry’s preliminary data, in January-October 2023, the foreign trade turnover rose 2.6% to surpass $114bn. The export stood at around $65bn, including the export of processed goods at round $21bn.
