Kazakh, German business circles sign a number of documents in Berlin

ASTANA. February 4. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Within the Kazakh-German business forum in Berlin a number of documents was signed between business circles of the two countries; Kazinform reports.

Head of Representation Office of the German Economy in Central Asia Jorg Hetsch noted that about 90 percent of all German trade turnover with the Central Asian countries is accounted for Kazakhstan. According to him, this forum became a good platform for renewal and strengthening of existed contacts between the Kazakh and German business. Businessmen, who were unacquainted with Kazakhstan, took part in the forum. The Germans are interested not only in the sphere of oil and gas, but in infrastructure, engineering, trade and construction materials. Agreement on cooperation and creation of a joint trade and industry chamber and representation office of the chamber in Germany was signed within the forum between the trade and industry chambers of Kazakhstan and Germany. Memorandum of plans, which foresees rendering of services and supplies of equipment for exploitation of oil and gas at the Caspian sea, was signed between the Kazakh company "Central Logistics GmgH" and German "Thyssen Krupp-Bautechnik und CL". ?Kaspy? SEC and ?Funke Gruppe? signed a protocol on execution of a project on construction of a plant of plastic construction materials, window and other profiles. Administration of North Kazakhstan oblast, ?TASSTONE? and "DR.Hein Gruppe" signed memorandum of construction of a plant on glass plate production. The volume of investments on this project is EURO 160 mln. Al Farabi Kazakh National University and "Technology Broker Bremen" will tune up cooperation in the sphere of laser technologies.
