Kazakh-German venture for production of modern resilient rail fastenings established

ASTANA. September 20. KAZINFORM - In the town of Kapshagai in Almaty region there has been opened a joint Kazakh -German company called "Kazakhstan Fosslo Fastening Systems" JSC for production of modern resilient rail fasteners, reports the press service of the National Agency for Export and Investment "Kaznex Invest" of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan.

The plant was set up by a global leader in rail infrastructure "Vossloh AG" in partnership with local company "Production Company " Dorplast -invest " Ltd. and with the assistance of the National Agency "Kaznex Invest". This is the first joint venture of the group in the CIS and the Baltic states for manufacturing rail fasteners. Capacity of the new plant is more than 1 million sets of elastic rail fastening a year. It will provide for the annual needs of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC, CSE" Metropolitan Almaty ", "LRTAstana" Ltd." The project will create 50 new jobs.

"Enterprise in the Almaty region was created in the framework of the new industrialization program. It is characterized by high efficiency, no waste and low power consumption. Also today in Kazakhstan railway polymer products are not manufactured with the use of systems of hot runner molds, which are used by Vossloh. Therefore, the project is also innovative ," said General Director of "Fosslo Fastening Systems Kazakhstan " Ernar Amantayev.
