Kazakh Government approves Arkalyk development package plan
The Kazakh Government approved the package plan for the development of Arkalyk city and two districts of Kostanay region, namely Amanegldy and Dzhangeldy districts, for 2023-2027, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Arkalyk is situated in the south of Kostanay region. It was founded in 1956. As of December 1, 2020, its population stands at 38,400 people.
The districts are located in the south and southwest of the region. They were established in 1928. 13,500 are residing now in Amageldy district, and 10,800 in Dzhangeldy district.
The package plan provides for 137 action items worth 504.4 billion tenge, of which 59.4 billion tenge is allocated by the republican budget.
Great attention will be paid to the development of the region’s agricultural sector, industry, entrepreneurship, employment, social and engineering infrastructure, healthcare, and the introduction of digital technologies.
