Kazakh Government, International Committee of Red Cross signed agr't
ASTANA. February 26. KAZINFORM The Agreement between the Kazakh Government and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on status, privileges and immunities of the ICRC in our country was signed in the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the press service of the Ministry reported.
The Agreement signed on February 25 provides privileges and immunities for the ICRC in Kazakhstan necessary for the activity in accordance with its mandate and standard work procedures. This activity mostly consists of promoting international humanitarian and other branches of law in Kazakhstan as well as cooperation with the Kazakh Red Crescent and Red Cross Society.
