Kazakh Government provides KZT 14 bln for regions' development program in 2012

EAST KAZAKHSTAN REGION. March 28. KAZINFORM As part of his working trip to East Kazakhstan region First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov visited Ridder town on Wednesday.

Akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev reported on the state of the housing stock of the town, which is represented by 525 multifamily and 1689 individual houses. In 2013, Ridder is scheduled to begin construction of a metallurgical plant, which will create 1,000 new jobs. This requires the introduction of the new housing to ensure the flow of labor resources in the region.

Serik Akhmetov also surveyed the water treatment plants of "Infroservis" State Communal Enterprise and Khariuzov Hydro Power Plant. In addition, the First Deputy Prime Minister visited LLC "Kazzinkmash", where he held a meeting on the development of mono-towns. Akhmetov said that on behalf of the Head of the State, the Government is developing a program of development of mono-towns. KZT 6 billion will be spent for this program in the current year. Along with it, KZT 14 billion will be allocated for the program on development of the regions in 2012.
