Kazakh Government seeks new investors in Germany

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Government of Kazakhstan will hold a session of the Kazakhstani-German Economic Forum in Berlin on March 5-6, Altai Abibullayev, the official spokesperson of the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan, has told a press briefing today.

According to him, the event was organized on the instruction of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev in an attempt to attract more foreign investments into the country. Meetings with members of the German government and reps of large German companies operating in Kazakhstan and potentially interested in our economy are to be held on the sidelines of the forum. "Strengthening of cooperation in the sphere of industry, energy, geology, subsurface management and innovations between Kazakhstan and Germany is the goal of the upcoming forum. Kazakhstani delegation will be headed by Deputy Premier - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev," A. Abibullayev added.
