Kazakh Government to eye development of single-industry cities
ASTANA. September 9. KAZINFORM The Government of Kazakhstan will discuss the implementation of single-industry cities development program for 2012-2020 on Tuesday (September 10).

It has been announced by Altai Abibullayev, the official spokesperson of the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan, at a weekly briefing today.
The program embraces the development of 27 single-industry cities with population of 1.53 million and is aimed at diversification of the single-industry cities, effective employment of the population through the development of small and medium business and creation of new enterprises and jobs.
