Kazakh Government to strengthen responsibility of heat power industry monopolists
1st Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar reported on the results of the repairs of the country’s heating and energy sources, Kazinform News Agency reports.
He said the point at issue is to reduce service wear of the country’s engineering infrastructure as well as heating and energy sources by 15% at least by 2029.
This year the country launched a program tariff in exchange for investments. In 2023 the Government attracted some 220 billion tenge of private investments in this sphere, almost 6,000 km of engineering infrastructure, and 77 heating and energy sources, including TPPs, hydroelectric power stations, and boiler-houses were repaired. Besides, wages for more than 200,000 workers have increased.
He stressed another highlight is digitalization. This December will launch the digital heating and electric power sector platform to feature all e-passports of the country’s thermal power and energy sources.
