Kazakh Head of State tours MODEX Astana plant

 The Kazah Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, toured the MODEX Astana plant for production of reinforced concrete constructions, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service. 

MODEX Astana, which is a subsidiary of BI Group, was built in 2020 and employs 360 people. The project is worth KZT16bn. The enterprise applies innovative technologies of industrial and modular engineering.

According to the chairman of the board of directors of BI Group, Aidyn Rakhimbayev, modular housing construction allows for significant reduction in the time of construction of any buildings, their cost, thus, making housing affordable to the wider population.

The technology the plant applies can be used when constructing social infrastructure facilities as well.

Since its establishment, the company has built facilities with a total area of over 200 thousand square meters thanks to the technology applied.
