Kazakh Industry Ministry, UNWTO sign memo of coop within EXPO 2017

BERLIN. KAZINFORM A delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, attended the opening of the Kazakh stand at the international travel trade show ITB 2014 in Berlin.

Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai in his address emphasized the importance of holding EXPO 2017 in Astana in the light of increased inflow of tourists into Kazakhstan, development of its infrastructure and voiced the UNWTO firm intention to support Kazakhstan. At the end the Ministry and the UNWTO signed a memorandum of cooperation in tourism within EXPO 2017.
