Kazakh, Iranian Presidents stand for moratorium on sturgeons capture in Caspian
ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Presidents of Kazakhstan and Iran think that it is necessary to announce moratorium on fishing sturgeons in the Caspian Sea. Head of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it at a briefing; Kazinform reports.
According to him, poaching can lead to total disappearance of that kind of fish. The President said that the history had such experience in 1947. ?It gave a very big effect?, he added.
