Kazakh judo team’s training camp kicks off in Astana

The training camp of the Kazakh judo team kicked off in Astana, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

Preparing for the new season, Kazakh judokas are taking up training at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov wrestling palace.

The training camp brought together about 100 athletes, including Olympic bronze medalist Gusman Kyrgyzbayev, World Championships bronze medalist Abiba Abuzhakynova, winners of the Grand Slam tournament Magzhan Shamshadin, Nurkanat Serikbayev, and Galiya Tynbayeva, as well as champions and medalists of the championship of Kazakhstan 2024.

As reported earlier, Yulia Putintseva set a record after victory in the Adelaide International quarterfinals in Australia.
