Kazakh judokas to compete in Paris Grand Slam
Kazakhstani judokas are getting ready to compete in the Paris Grand Slam slated for February 1-2, Kazinform News Agency learned from the National Olympic Committee.
The event is expected to become a landmark one, as judokas will compete as per new regulations officially announced in mid-December 2023.
Team Kazakhstan has approached the new season with 87,541 points holding the 12th line in the world ranking.
Japan tops the ranking with 219,217 points, and France stands second with 184,924 points.
The Individual Neutral Athletes team holds the 3rd line with 114,452 points.
Earlier, it was reported that Team Kazakhstan claimed eight medals at the Thessaloniki Cadet European Cup 2024 in Greece.
