Kazakh-Korean Customs Cooperation Committee held sitting in Almaty
ALMATY. April 28. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ The IV sitting of the Kazakh-Korean Committee for Customs Cooperation has taken place in Almaty today. Chairman of Customs Control Committee of Kazakh Finance Ministry Kozy-Korpesh Karbuzov took part in it.

The meeting was aimed at discussing perspective directions of development of customs services, developing measures on simplification of customs procedures, creating conditions for trade development and promoting bilateral relations.
It was noted that the external trade between Kazakhstan and Korea developed dynamically. In 2008 the volume of commodity circulation amounted to USD 754 million. The customs services intend to further trade contacts and render assistance to the participants of foreign economic activity.
The sides prepared the all-round cooperation agreement that can be signed at the sitting of the World Customs Organization planned for June 2009 in Belgium.
The Korean delegation is to visit the customs post ?Almaty ? Customs Processing Center? of the Almaty Customs Control Department, ?Damu? Industrial Logistics Center and Cynological Center of the Customs Control Committee of the Kazakh Finance Ministry.
