Kazakh Kurmangaliyev storms into World Youth Championships Round of 16

Alan Kurmangaliyev of Kazakhstan strolled into the Round of 16 of the now-running ITTF World Youth Championships in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, Kazinform News Agency reports referring to the Kazakh National Olympic Committee’s press service.

In the individual event, Alan Kurmangaliyev beat Brin Vovk 4:2.

In the team event, Kazakh Sarvinoz Mirkadirova lost to Annett Kaufmann of Germany 0:4.
