Kazakh Labor Minister told about women's retirement age increase

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM "Unification of the pension age for women is offered in connection with the fact that many women having reached retirement age do not have full-time participation in the solidarity pension system, " Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Serik Abdenov informed during the presentation of the draft law "On pension provision in Kazakhstan" in Majilis.

"it is necessary to take into account that today more than 12 percent of women do not have full-time participation in the solidarity system, starting from 2018; it will apply to all women and therefore the size of their joint pension will be less than the minimum, " the Minister said.
