Kazakh Labor Ministry plans to decrease unemployment level by 5.5% by 2015

ASTANA. December 22. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The Kazakh Ministry of Labor and Social Protection plans to decrease the unemployment level by 5.5 percent by 2015, and by 5 percent by 2020. Minister Gulshara Abdykalikova has announced it at the Government's sitting.

"The Concept of labor market regulation and employment promotion, on the basis of which new model of productive employment will be formed, is under completion", she noted.

According to the Minister, this document foresees elaboration of the country's labor resources balance taking into account natural population increase. At present professional qualification requirements for specialists, this will be laid in foundation of professional standards. As a result of the measures taken it is suggested that share of high skilled labor force will increase by 50 percent by 2020.
