ASTANA. December 22. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Kazakh legislation provides national and foreign election observers with the broadest ever rights in the world. Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh Central Election Commission Vladimir Foos said at a session of the Commission on human rights under the Kazakh President devoted to the activity of the Central Election Commission.

"During the period of functioning of the Law "On elections in Kazakhstan" the rights of observers both national and foreign undergone changes and were broadened", V.Foos said.

"I have compared the legislations of other countries. No other country provides such opportunities for elections observing as our country does. Some countries do not have such institution as election observation at all, especially in west Europe", the Kazakh official said.

"Our observers have rights to take part in all activities, election processes, get any information, accompany, watch, take photos, videos, analyze, remark. The observers have the broadest ever rights", he said.
