Kazakh, Lithuanian governments ink bilateral agreements

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan and Lithuania have signed a number of inter-governmental agreements following negotiations of Prime Minister Karim Massimov and his Lithuanian colleague Algirdas Butkevičius in Astana today.

The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on mutual protection of classified information, the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Financial Crime Investigation Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania on cooperation in counteraction of the legalization of proceeds of crime and the financing of terrorism and the Memorandum of cooperation in the sphere of veterinary were inked. The sides also signed the Protocol of intent on cooperation between the city of Aktau of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the city of Klaipėda of the Republic of Lithuania.
