Kazakh Majilis approved Kazakhstan-China pipeline use agr't

"The agreement aims at increasing the capacity of the "Kazakhstan-China" pipeline and to ensure stability of supply of the Kazakh oil to China by creating an attractive environment for the export of oil by Kazakh shippers to China," acting Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov noted while introducing the bill.
According to him, the document implies the establishment of network tariff, irrespective of the point of entry of oil in the "Kazakhstan-China" pipeline, while the tariff for the supply of oil to the domestic market will be approved by the authorized state bodies of Kazakhstan and shall not exceed the rate of export.
The prices will be determined on the basis of international crude prices and will be the same on the Kazakh-Chinese border, while the Chinese side will provide the attractiveness of these prices for Kazakh consignors.
