Kazakh Minister of Agriculture and Senators discuss issues on financing sowing campaign

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM The senators of the Kazakh Parliament and leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and its structures have considered the issues on financing the spring sowing campaign today; Kazinform has learnt from the Upper House?s press-service.

Opening the session, Head of the Committee on Agricultural Issues and Environment Yevgeny Aman specified the aim of the meeting - to receive exact information on the progress of funding of rural manufacturers on the eve of the sowing work. Vice Minister of Agriculture Arman Yevniyev reported on principal measures taken to provide farmers with qualitative seeds, fertilizers and lubricants. The deputies who have recently made a tour of the regions pointed out the ?footdragging of the financial scheme? which is still inaccessible for majority of farmers. According to Senator Kuanysh Aitakhanov the national practice of rural manufacturer?s financing led to the fact that ?only 6% of agrarians use these funds while other 94% are accustomed to the thought they would never find way to finance?. Summarizing his report, Y. Aman told that the results of the session will constitute a ground for the note to the Government.
