Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs to visit Finland

ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerlan Idrissov will visit Helsinki on invitation of his colleague- Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Erkki Tuomioja, official spokesperson of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Zhanbolat Usenov reported.

The head of the Kazakh foreign ministry is expected to meet with politics and representative of business circles of Finland.

The main topic of the talks with the Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade of Finland Alexander Stubb will be the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the context of the upcoming state visit of the President of Finland Sauli Niinisto to Kazakhstan in April this year.

An important point of the visit will be the grand opening of the Kazakh Embassy in Finland. A development of inter-parliamentary cooperation will be discussed within the meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Jari Heiniluoma," Z. Usenov said.

According to him, during the negotiations with the President of Finland, the parties will discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral trade, investment and technological cooperation. On the final day of his visit, the Kazakh Foreign Minister will speak at the Alexander Institute at the University of Helsinki.
