Kazakh Minister opens new school in Pavlodar region

Kazakhstan enlightenment minister Gani Beissembayev, Pavlodar region governor Assain Baikhanov, and residents of Karazhar village took part in the solemn opening of a new school, Kazinform Agency learnt from the governor’s press service.

The minister said 77 new schools for 78,500 seats were opened by October 1 countrywide. 132,000 new seats will be unveiled at large to tackle issues of three-shift schooling and shortage of seats in 113 rural settlements. 369 schools for 740 schoolchildren will open within three years ahead as part of the national project.

The new school is designated to welcome 100 pupils. There are 11 classes in the two-storey school.
