Kazakh Ministry for Agriculture and Microsoft Kazakhstan sign memo on strategic cooperation

ASTANA. December 6. KAZINFORM Executive Secretary of Kazakh Ministry for Agriculture Eugeny Aman, President of Microsoft Central & Eastern Europe Don Grantham and representative of "Microsoft Kazakhstan" Alla Ponomareva signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation on Tuesday in Astana.

The document will enable the sides to develop and carry out both short-term and long-term projects aimed at accelerating processes in the field of automation of public administration and support for agro-industrial complex in Kazakhstan.

"The system approach in introducing modern information technologies in the field of agriculture is not only a motivating factor for the development, but a necessity. If Kazakhstan is planning to compete in the global food market, it must keep pace with the world," Mr Aman said.
