Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade intends to accelerate implementation of ?Taskala-Ozinki? project

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Ministry of Industry and Trade intends to accelerate the implementation of the project on creation of trade-logistics center ?Taskala-Ozinky?, Kazinform reports.

?Taskala-Ozinky? Center will be created at the near-border crossing through the state border ?Taskala? (the West-Kazakhstan region) and ?Ozinky? (Saratov region of Russia). As is expected its creation will contribute to the development of new economic environment at the near-border territory that will let increase bilateral trade turnover and lead to the development of near - border road infrastructure. ?At present, the agreements on mutual cooperation between reps of Saratov region of Russia and ?Kaspy? SEC, ?Zhetysu?, ?Batys? and ?Horgos? have been signed. In addition, reps of Saratov region signed the agreement on cooperation with akimat of the West Kazakhstan region. We hope that this will give a new impulse for implementation of this project?, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Yedil Mamytbekov emphasized. According to him the preliminary funds amounted to 20 bln rubles. But this figure is not accurate, Y. Mamytbekov explained to the journalists. The project will be implemented with the use of mechanism of the public private partnership.
