Kazakh, Moldovan Presidents held telephone talk

ASTANA. August 17. KAZINFORM. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a telephone talk with his Moldovan counterpart Vladimir Voronin today; Kazinform refers to the Presidential press service.

The parties discussed the issues of development of bilateral relations, economic, social and humanitarian cooperation between the two states.

V. Voronin told N. Nazarbayev about the results of the recent Moldovan parliamentary elections. The heads of the states also discussed the issues of the oncoming sitting of the CIS Council of Heads of States planned for October 2009 in Chisinau.
