Kazakh National Bank to issue statement amid another wave of devaluation rumors

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The National Bank of Kazakhstan is set to make a statement related to rumors swirling around a possible second wave of devaluation of the national currency - tenge.

"There will be no devaluation [of tenge] tomorrow. The National Bank is set to make official statement. Rumors are triggered by speculators," Advisor to Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Olzhas Khudaibergenov said via his Facebook page on July 31. Social networks have been discussing rumored devaluation in Kazakhstan non-stop this week.
