Kazakh National Guard presents hospital aircraft to Majilis Deputies
A hospital plane is a specialized air transport designed for the evacuation and medical assistance of victims in emergency situations, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The hospital aircraft was presented to the Majilis deputies.
"Further development of the air base plays an important role in ensuring the security of the state. We provide comprehensive technical support to the involved entities," emphasized Ansagan Baltabekov, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of Kazakhstan.
Dmitriy Baster, the commander of the airbase, provided the Majilis deputies with a comprehensive overview of the service and combat activities, state and development prospects of the aviation service of the law enforcement forces.
Deputies were shown a Y8F200WA aircraft designed for the evacuation of 30 bedridden patients by ambulance.
Additionally, the Mi-171E helicopter is showcased.
The rotor-driven aircraft is also suitable for sanitary missions, with its crew prepared to conduct flights in nighttime conditions and adverse weather.
The deputies were given a guided tour of the museum. During the tour, they gained insight into the unit's catering facilities and the financial provisions allocated for engineering, technical, and flight personnel.
During the meeting, a number of issues that have a significant impact on the fulfillment of service and combat tasks were voiced.
Deputy Aigul Kuspan acknowledged the crucial role of the Kazakh National Guard in safeguarding law and order and public security on a daily basis.
She also emphasized that the voiced issues will be a priority for the Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Committee of the lower house, and they will make every effort to solve them.
The National Guard's pilots have demonstrated their expertise in various international operations, including special missions to combat organized crime and drug trafficking, and humanitarian aid deliveries to Syria, Türkiye, and Afghanistan.
As outlined in the National Guard, the aviation of law enforcement forces is a power component of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is part of the state aviation, which combines flight units and units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Border Guard Service of the Kazakh National Security Committee.
