Kazakh National Olympic Committee promises generous cash prize for medalists

For winning gold medals Kazakhstani athletes can expect a cash prize from the National Olympic Committee in the amount of USD 250 thousand. For silver - USD 150 thousand, bronze -USD 75 thousand.
Latvian athletes respectively - USD 192,800, USD 96,400 and USD 67,500. Italian sportsmen- USD 189 800, USD 101 700 and USD 67 800. Belarusian reps - USD150 000, USD 75 000 and USD 50 000. Estonian sportsmen - USD 138 500, USD 92 300 and USD 60 600. Ukrainian players - USD 125 000, USD 80 000 and USD 55 000.
Russian national team athletes will receive 4 million rubles (about 113,200 dollars) for gold medal, 2.5 million rubles (70,800 dollars) for silver and 1.7 million rubles (48,000 dollars) for the bronze medal.
Swiss NOC defined the prize in the amount of USD 88 600, 77 500 and 66 450. French athletes were promised to receive USD 67 800, 27 100 and 17 600. Dutch players to receive USD 40,600, 30,500 and 20,300. Finnish sportsment will get USD 40,600, 20,300 and 13,500. Japan will reward respectively USD 29 300, 19 600 and 9800.
American champions and winners will get USD 25,000, 15,000 and 10,000. The German sports players have more modest fee - USD 20 300, 13 500 and 10 150. Canadian NOC considered that their athletes will get enough cash prize amounting to USD 17,900 for gold, 13,400 - for silver and 8900 - for the bronze.
Even fewer bonuses will be rewarded Australians - USD 13,000 , 8700 and 6500.
Olympic medalists from Great Britain, Norway, Sweden and Croatia will not get any remuneration. "We spend all the money allocated to us for training athletes to the Olympics, in particular, 8 million euros have been spent on training camps, coaches and cash grants to athletes", explained the representative of the Swedish NOC Bjorn Folin.
The Austrian Government presents its athletes, who became Olympic champions, 17 silver coins worth USD 21,600 for winning gold medal. Silver and bronze medalists get 13 and 11 coins respectively.
