Kazakh-Oman bilateral relations discussed in Muscat

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Yerjan Mukash has met with the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Said Kiyumi, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs.

During the meeting the sides discussed the state and prospects of Kazakh-Omani relations. In particular, they expressed the need to establish closer ties between the Chambers of Commerce of the two countries. Kazakh diplomat also briefed about the preparations for the international exhibition "EXPO-2017" which is to be held in Astana and expressed hope for active participation of Omani companies in this important event. In turn, S.Kiyumi assured his readiness to render necessary assistance to the establishment of cooperation with the Kazakh side and expressed interest in organizing mutual visits and activities that will contribute to the further strengthening of friendly relations between Oman and Kazakhstan.
