Kazakh Ombudsman appealed to the Supreme Court Chairman

ASTANA. March 16. KAZINFROM Today Kazakh Commissioner on Human Rights Askar Shakirov sent an appeal concerning forthcoming consideration of the criminal case on Zhanaozen events, occurred December 2011 in Mangystau region, to the Chairman of the Kazakh Supreme Court.

As the appeal reads, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev urged the Government to solve social economic problems, to work a program of further development of Zhanaozen, the Kazakh Ombudsman's press service informs

Today the city infrastructure  rehabilitation works are underway, the organizational and staff measures against the guilty officials have been taken, several persons were charged with criminal offenses.
