Kazakh-Pakistani coop in trade and investments discussed
ISLAMABAD. January 28. KAZINFORM A meeting of Kazakh Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with CEO of the Competitiveness Support Fund Arthur Bayhan was held Tuesday in Islamabad, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Pakistan.
Great potential of trade cooperation between the Central and South Asia was complimented within the meeting. Kazakh Ambassador noted that the development of such contacts meets the interests of all states of the region. Having expressed support to the development of interregional cooperation, he informed of Kazakhstan?s steady overcome of the world financial crisis.
A.Bayhan informed of the possibility of increase of trade relations with the Central Asian countries and Kazakhstan in particular. The Fund supports production of seafood and horticultural products that could be exported to the Kazakh market.
Work on creation of two free economic areas is underway in Pakistan now. All necessary infrastructures for the development of new productions, in the establishment of which Kazakhstani businessmen can take part, will be introduced in the areas. Enterprises of the free economic areas will be granted a remission for taxation for 15 years.
The reps of the Fund intend to discuss these and other issues in the nearest future in Kazakhstan, the most developed country of Central Asia.
